What are you trying to do again?
We’re going to get in shape and climb mountains.

    Why?
Because we believe that life is best lived boldly. There’s a much longer answer that we’ll add before this site officially launches in November.

    Are you serious?
    Very.

    Are you insane?
We don’t think so but crazy people never seem to fess up do they?

Do you have a death wish?
We are not dedicating thousands of hard hours to stair climbing, weight-lifting, running, hiking, and skill development to die. Sucking on a tailpipe would get the job done in five minutes with much less pain than we are enduring. We accept the fact that there is a certain amount of risk inherent in mountaineering but we are committed to climbing safely.

Are you going to climb (insert famous 8,000m peak name here)?
It is certainly possible that we’ll eventually tackle some of the well-known 8,000m peaks at some point but at the moment we are focused on getting ourselves in peak physical condition and learning the skills we’ll need to survive increasingly technical and/or dangerous climbs.

    Can I climb with You?
We plan to open some climbs to the Never Stop Climbing community. In some cases these trips may be professionally guided and we will leave the ultimate evaluation of a climber’s fitness to them. We’d like nothing more than to see people joining us in getting off the couch and up a mountain. If that is your goal you can start today by beginning the process of preparing yourself physically and mentally just as we are now.

Will you link to my website?
Possibly. Send us the link and we’ll check it out.

How are you paying for all of this?
We’re self-funded so the expense of trips, gear, and this site come out of our pockets. Buying official Team NSC gear kicks a couple of dollars into our adventure fund and we happily accept donations from those who are kind enough to help us reach our goals. Ultimately, we’d love to represent some of our favorite companies and kick this project into overdrive.

Can I start my own Never Stop Climbing team?
We’re definitely interested in creating a framework to support those who want to develop their own teams. Drop us a line if you’re interested and we’ll keep you in the loop as things progress.
